Went for sushi after a morning in the park with the kids. The place is quiet small with only two rows of tables (25/30 people max), had to wait 15 minutes at the front door for the table, with the staff coming every 3 minutes with a smile and a update regarding my table. I notice that the costumers were mainly local office workers enjoying the good food and the 20% discount that celebrates the new management of the place since last January. We were lucky enough to have the restaurant for ourselves after the reasonable wait. Sushi is tasty, however service haven't changed! Every time when I order 4 or 5 sets of maki, each costing average 9gbp, when I add kind request for an extra soya, wasabi or ginger, also mentioning its for two or three people, every time they ignore the comment section. Also when ordering take away it is such a problem to provide and extra sachet of soya or anything you ask, what I believe is been already paid for when paying for sushi..
My husband and I decided to order takeout for a cozy dinner at home, and unfortunately, we chose Oki Oki Sushi. The tuna roll lacked flavor and the signature unagi supreme roll was overwhelmed by a sticky, sweet eel sauce. The sashimi was also a disappointment, as it was still partially frozen. Neither of us could eat it, making this the worst sushi experience of my life.
This restaurant was once excellent, but it has declined since the menu was redesigned. The chicken teriyaki used to be served with rice, but now it is a separate dish. The 8-9 meal is now priced at 11-12. It's disappointing, especially when there are other restaurants nearby that offer a better option. We likely won't return until the original menu is restored.

I order from here often and they have only gotten my order wrong once. I have eaten in a few times. The new bento boxes are a bit too big and now come with fried rice as well. However, the actual restaurant itself is nice and service is great.
went for a birthday dinner, restaurant is cosy and staff very polite and food tasty and arrived in good timing, they did not rush us when we had finished our meal just talking and laughing and seemed very nice will go there again.
This restaurant offers a good variety of sushi and other traditional Japanese dishes. They also have a nice selection of bento boxes, all served with miso soup. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the service is friendly.
I have had a lot of Sushi and if you enjoy great-tasting food and not just any Sushi. You have to come and give Oki Oki a visit. Sushiu and Chicken dishes are insane
