The dining experience was outstanding at Ola. The dishes were creative and delicious. The service was very good and appropriate for a Michelin . Fortunately, I ate in 10 Michelin restaurants over a 2 week period, Ola was in the top half of those restaurants, so I was pleased. Out of all the restaurants on my culinary tour, Ola had the most difficult time understanding and reacting to my food restrictions. I was called in advance after noting restrictions on my reservation comments and questioned again upon arrival, really not sure it was the servers or the chef, hoping it was the servers. Definitely not the best foot forward there.
Por fin tuvimos un gran menú degustación en el País Vasco. Los platos están perfectamente condimentados y, a menudo, tienen una explosión de sabor. Lo único que no me gustó fue el foie gras, que era demasiado graso (antes comí muchos foie gras). Había 2 postres y el segundo nos gustó más. En definitiva, fue un gran almuerzo y el precio era razonable. La mejor comida vasca que tuvimos en Bilbao en 7 días.
Good food, good service. Certainly worth the star. The millefeuille of foie and smoked eal is the signature dish of MB. The best dish of the evening. Take it never from the menu!! Staff a bit stiff , but oke. Value for money. Bodega de Ola is certainly also a good choice in this great hotel.
Nosotros cogimos el menú de Berasategui, está todo muy bueno, no hay error pero sobra y es muy generoso ¡¡15 preparaciones!! . Hay tantas cosas que olvidamos lo que comimos... Servicio impecable. La experiencia vale la pena, pero si tuviera que repetir me quedaría con el otro menú.

Hemos tenido el placer, mi pareja y yo, de probar el menú degustación en el Ola. Ha sido una experiencia excepcional, equilibrio de sabores sorprendentes, servicio immejorable y lugar elegante a la par que sencillo. Todo un placer.
Edificio antiguo del Casco Viejo de Bilbao totalmente reformado . Convertido en un hotel fabuloso con unas instalaciones modernas y perfectas . Tiene una vinacoteca excepcional . Recomendable
A more classical Michelin star restaurant but again with nice food and some delicious wines. You won’t regret having dinner in this great restaurant located in the old town
