My first visit for a few years and really enjoyed it. It is not really changed over the years that is a good thing as people go to the history of the place with its connection to Hull New Theatre and look at the pictures of all stars who have visited the pub at an aftershow drink.
Very nice and well maintained furnishings. The new Land Lord and Land Lady are great and as they have taken over the place had so many new faces, celebrities and funny creatures, Would recommend to a friend, big pub
I remember this pub from 1980 and 1983, when I was doing my 2nd Mate (FG) and 1st Mate (FG) tickets at Hull Nautical College, which used to be on George Street. Great beers and a neat old-fashioned local pub.
