The service was outstanding. The older gentleman who attended to us was very attentive without being intrusive. I visited to celebrate my family members' birthdays, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. I appreciated the option to dine indoors or outdoors. The appetizer platter was delightful, featuring two meats and a pretzel. I believe I ordered the daily special, which was pig knuckle wrapped in pig snout—it was incredibly tasty and tender, reminiscent of brisket. Excellent. Went with a couple friends. The serving size on the main courses was enormous the tastes incredible the leftovers yummy! We did a sampling of the menu and everything was truly delicious. Seriously, we all tasted each other's dishes and enjoyed it every delicious bite. Service was efficient and friendly without being overbearing. Save room for dessert. The Black Forest Cake was one of the best I've ever had. The cheesecake, deliciously dense but not overly rich. Crème Brûlée stunning with a thick caramelized sugar top. All in all we each can't wait to go back and keep trying each dish on the menu.
Our family had a great experience at Old House Cosmopolitan. We were greeted promptly by a gentleman who led us to an upstairs room. Service was excellent and the food came out fast. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel with a salad and they were both very good. The rest of the family ordered a vegetable-stuffed pork dish that was also very tasty. The beer was good and cold although they only had three drafts on tap. Overall, it was a clean and comfortable restuarant and we would definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
Old house cosmopolitan grill is amazing! Great environment, friendly service and delicious authentic German food with healthy portions! I am a big fan and would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Their spaetzl, Wiener schnitzel and goulash are very authentic and delicious! The mushroom gravy is a great add on to the schnitzel. I would also recommend the grilled vegetables! Desserts look amazing but I was too full from the main course. I will definitely be back and hope to try dessert next time as well.

Overall, it was fantastic. The atmosphere is perfect for both a romantic dinner and a casual get-together with friends. The food was excellent and the desserts were heavenly! We indulged in baklava, crepes, and pistachio German cheesecake. For the main dishes, I highly recommend the goulash, cevapi, and definitely ask for the bread (lepina) — it's a must! The mixed grill and cheese-stuffed schnitzel are also worth trying.
