The mac and cheese was a bit on the small side (around 4 oz.), but it was absolutely delicious. The onion rings were generously sized and had a crispy exterior, while the inside was hot and juicy. I really appreciated that they came with ranch dressing; it's not often that servers offer sauce without me having to ask. I also sampled my fiancé's BBQ sauce while he tried my ranch, and we both agreed that they were fantastic homemade sauces—being sauce lovers ourselves, we were quite pleased. The prices were reasonable, and I was able to take half of my sandwich home since it was packed with a generous amount of meat. Because of that, I didn't mind the smaller portion of mac and cheese. I've been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time, but I have to say, the experience has become increasingly disappointing. The prices are getting higher and higher, while the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. For instance, a two-piece fish and chips now costs $22 before tax and tip (as of now). By the time you read this, it could very well be $28 for the same meal, just with less food. What used to be two generous pieces of fish has now turned into smaller chunks, around three or four, to try to fill the gap. The dish also seems to have more breading than before. I'm very disappointed with this decline in quality and value. I think this will be my last visit, as the pr...
Family lunch after grandson's baseball game. Pleasantly surprised. Facility is not fancy-shopping center store with inside and outside seating and plenty of free parking. Restaurant itself appears a bit cluttered but in part that is because the menu is large and they have minimal storgae so much of the inventory is apparent. Besides lobsters at market rate, they serve barbeque and some other meal items including fish and chips. Large selection of beverages including about eight beers on tap. You order at the counter, pay and they will bring your order to your table. Impressive amount of beef in the sandwiches.
The chowder bread bowls at this restaurant are fantastic, and I appreciate the relaxed, picnic-style vibe. The lobster rolls and salads are flavorful, but they do tend to be pricey and could use a bit more creativity. As much as I enjoy lobster, it's hard to rationalize spending so much on lunch. The food is fresh and delicious, but overall it feels a bit basic. Book a table now
The service at Old Port Lobster Shack was excellent, but the fried oysters and clams with belly were a bit greasy. We ordered two portions of oysters and one of clams with belly, which cost us more than $70 after tax and a 15% tip. Adding a fish dish and onion rings for a lunch for two pushed our total bill to over $100.
This is a wonderful seafood restaurant with a street food vibe that exudes passion. We visited for lunch and were seated outside. We enjoyed a salmon burger, a seafood Louie salad, some white wine, and a beer. Everything was delightful. We will definitely be back!
wayyyy too much sauce. the line was about 30 minutes long. I personally like to eat good, but that's waiting in lines for hipster thing is not really for me. it wasn't bad, but, honestly, I like street dogs better, and they don't need a hose when they're done.
The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! They have a wide variety of beer options, ranging from excellent selections to tap beers and unique choices like Devil's Canyon blueberry ale and other intriguing brews. Book a table now
The service was incredibly friendly, and I found the calamari delightful, featuring a nice mix of rings and tentacles. The Texas-style broth was rich with a generous portion of lobster. Overall, it was a nice experience.
