Came here while visiting Kingston- super cute place, very nice sitting along the water. We had the fried green tomatoes, sliders and meatloaf and some drinks. The service and cadence of the food was good. The food was okay- good-ish, not great. Just overall needed more flavor. The meatloaf was the best. The Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes were a bit bland, the sliders were plain old sliders. Overall it was a nice experience, just expensive for the quality of food. It was $97 for 1 entree, 2 apps, 2 beers and one margarita. I assume the prices are like this because of the location and I’m guessing they cater to NYC crowds. It wasn’t overly expensive but was for the area and for what w...

We had a delightful lunch on a Monday afternoon at this restaurant. Our server was kind and gave us great service. We ordered fish and chips, fried catfish, and a Nashville style spicy chicken sandwich, along with a side of mac and cheese which we shared. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. It was a pleasant surprise to find out they have a designated area for dog-friendly tables, so we were able to bring our well-behaved pup along. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
The restaurant features a spacious open-floor layout spread across two levels, although it can get quite noisy. The waitstaff is skilled and the hostess is welcoming. The food is tasty, with some creative takes on classic dishes. There is outdoor seating available during the warmer months. The décor reflects Kingston's history in maritime trade. The restrooms are kept clean, but there is no Wi-Fi available. Notably, in 2019, the Ulster County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe here. Book a table now
All of our meals were excellent except for the chicken pie, which came out in a cast iron frying pan and overdone. The waitress said oh no, it is supposed to be like that That person had only a few bites and was not impressed(she is a restaurant owner). The pork shoulder, Jambalaya and Gumbo were outstanding. We would definitely come back if we get up that way again.
Menu is all over the board, went with the burger figured it was a solid choice. $2 up charge for cheese is wild, i ordered medium with chese and got well done with no cheese, bbq dishes that the rest of our table had looked very fatty and boiled..place is very expensive for less than average food. Very disappointed , i do not recommend this place at all
I had a fantastic dining experience at this Southern restaurant. Despite being hesitant because of the mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The menu was unique, the building had a cool vibe, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy.
Despite having made a reservation that indicated our preference not to sit near the door, we were unfortunately assigned a table in that location. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking. Book a table now
The industrial space without any sound deadening made for a super loud meal, but a nice atmosphere overall... Get the waffle sandwich dessert, you won't regret it...
Great location with fabulous views. Good service. Didn’t have the dessert posted on the menu.
