I visited once, 8 years ago and woke up today to think about this place. The food was so good, but what I really remember was how well I was treated. I came in alone and exhausted on a work trip. I sat at the bar above and although this was my first time somewhere near Raleigh, I was treated as regular that comes every week. I remember my waitress making suggestions with enthusiasm. You could say she loved the place too. As I eat, the chefs called me out of the kitchen and asked how I enjoy it. As finished, my waitress came back and asked if I had room for Dessert. I told her I didn't do it, but I wanted to get something anyway. Then she brought me a bowl of banana pudding that I didn't orde...
A friend of mine were wanting some NC BBQ as we made our way to the PNC arena. From the moment we entered, we were greeted warmly and the waitress was funny and very accommodating to us and the many people coming in for take out orders. So I had the pulled pork and chicken breast and wing combination with mashed potatoes and gravy and homemade baked Mac and Cheese the best kind! Add to that sweet tea to wash it down! Everything was on point! Nothing but one of the best experiences in a restaurant that I ever had as well as the best dinner! I?m so glad I was able to take a chance and go! I will definitely be back next time I?m in the area! Kudos!
A hidden Jem near Raleigh/Cary, and it has all the best components you are looking for when a day of breaking bread with a guest daughter. Service 10, food 10, smell and cleanliness 10. Definitely a place to visit over and above
Do you like small holes in the wall? Type of restaurants, unapologetic and delicious food? This is your place! Had the combination plate and it?s much for 2 people, but obviously ate the whole thing. 100% recommended.
