This was a restaurant that I came many many years ago with my date then, and I’ve been scratching my memories to find this place again. And finally found it. Food itself is quite simple and I would rate it 4 stars probably. I enjoyed my foods (exceptgarlic bread) but wouldn’t say they were so memorable or very outstanding. Romesco dip was the favorite for what I had sofar. One extra star is really due to the ambience of it. I love the interior here and def would like to come more often evenmyself if it were more closely located. Their outdoor seating seemed very charming too although I didn’t have a chance to tryit myself yet. ????? ????? ????? ??? ?????? ?? ???? ???? ????? ?? ??? ???

I already came in with high expectations since several people had recommended I try Olea, but those expectations were exceeded! We got lucky and happened to be there on a beautiful day so we sat outside — the location is at a gorgeous and peaceful streetcorner. It almost feels like you’re on vacation outside the big city. Food was absolutely delicious. We got 3 smallertapas-style dishes and one main: Bacon-wrapped dates, corn salad, the tuna-stuffed peppers and this spicy shakshuka (it wascalled something else on the menu). Everything was so fresh and well-seasoned and creative and …fun to eat! Staff were reallyfriendly and attentive. All around A+ experience.
I was lucky to visit Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on a beautiful Friday morning and enjoy the day's specials at Olea. The Mussels with Toasted Baguette were briny and flavorful, making it hard to stop eating. I'm glad I added a side of Lamb Merguez sausages, which complemented the main dish perfectly. The dessert special was just as delightful—the Basque Burnt Cheesecake with Raspberry Compote. The tartness of the compote balanced nicely with the creamy, subtly sweet cheesecake. The restroom features a sliding door and is clean, though only one person can use it at a time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Great service, even on a weekend with a snow storm. (Posting this very very late) Customer service could’ve been a little ~livelier~ but everyone has those days I guess. The food outweighed the mediocre service. Great breads and sauces fordipping, and a wide selection of specials too. Atlantic Char was good as were the seafood empanadillas. I would skip theshishito peppers and braised beef/brisket sandwich, just not that flavorful or amazing when compared to other items on themenu. Sauteed cremini mushrooms were SO GOOD. I would substitute an entree for two orders of that, so good! Book a table now
I love Olea and have visited several times, and it always exceeds my expectations. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the coffee is top-notch! The indoor dining area is incredibly cozy, filled with beautiful plants and decorations. Just take a look at that picture of the spread combo—it not only looks stunning but tastes even better!
I always have a great time at this restaurant, thanks to the welcoming staff and delicious food. The menu clearly marks the many vegan options available, and the vegetarian dishes can be customized easily. I also appreciate that the daily specials for both dinner and brunch usually include something for vegans.
Ned, our server, was incredibly attentive. We savored the most delicious braised chicken and a refreshing Spanish beer. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Thank you, Olea!
Hate to be trite but this place was truly a party in my mouth where everyone was invited. Book a table now
I can legit say that I ate at this spot every week during the summer.
