This is now my go to place for Korean fried chicken! The skin is perfectly crisp and the chicken is super most and juicy. My favourite flavour would definitely have to be the sweet and spicy chicken. You get value for your money here as the pieces of chicken are quite large. From my experience the 'couple combo ' is enough for 3-4 people as it comes with 10 pieces of chicken and assorted fries. Service here is always great and the waitresses are very polite. Parking can be a little difficult to find during the day, but there is a lot of street parking in the evening. The restaurant itself is quite small and dingy but that doesn 't take away from the great food!
An outlet known for serving Korean style fried chicken. We ordered a small order of half and half (hot and sweet crispy) for $11 that came with a side of pickled daikon. I preferred the hot and sweet over the crispy chicken. The crispy chicken was not 'crispy ' enough (for better deep fried chicken, you can get it conveniently from KFC).
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The hot and sweet chicken is absolutely delicious, and their onion rings are also fantastic. Olive Chicken is definitely one of the top chicken spots in Calgary - I would pick it over KFC any day!
