They did this in California and they continue to do it here, so it 's a cultural miscalculation but a bad one at that. I made a reservation with my family. Upon our arrival, the hostess decided to seat us on the side of the restaurant that was really up to capacity. We politely asked if we could sit on the other side. Instead, the hostess called over the manager. A robust male manager approached us to respond to our request in a disgruntled tone proclaiming it 's a holiday weekend , and that we couldn 't move since the other side of the dinning room was closed until five PM. Another ten minutes on a holiday weekend? I kid you not. He gaslighted us by vigilantly saying that we were an unwelcomed family, and refused our diplomatic request. I hadn't visited this Olive Garden location in years, and I was pleasantly surprised by how updated and modern the decor has become. The seating was quick and the service was excellent. I ordered a chicken dish that was well-prepared, along with the famous, delicious breadsticks. I also tried two soups as part of my meal, which were the only disappointment. They seemed to lack flavor and didn't have as many meat and vegetable ingredients as before, almost as if they were diluting them with extra broth to cut costs. Overall, though, it was a good experience, and I would definitely return.
At the first visit of this place on Wednesday. We didn't even have to wait until we were sitting. I would like to praise our waitress Amelia for the service she gave us. From the first greeting to take our order and up with refills, their polite and friendly attitude improves our culinary experience. What makes the food that meets our expectations fresh and timely. And the guy who helped her, Dee. That was amazing. Very friendly and professional. If I could give these two 10 stars, I would. Great rental manager.

I hadn't been to an Olive Garden in years before this visit. I remember how good the seafood Alfredo was back in the day, so I decided to order that again.. It was delicious. Lol. We also ordered few drinks that were made just right. Living in Chicago, we really try not to go to too many chains, but this is a chain restaurant that we will continue going to. Our server was also great. We will be back.
I just want to say Thank You to this Olive Garden for being the number 1 best in Illinois and the customer experience is just beyond what I expected and Chrissy is just the definition of what a manger is supposed to be in every way way to go Chrissy and her team will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends as well.
Been here a few times. If you get lucky someone will come over within 10-15 minutes after a host seats you. It would be ok even if they came over and said give us a minute please. BUT Nobody ever comes to even say Sorry, I 'll be over soon . Service is terrible.
