In Episode 6 of Season 2 of Jessica Jones, titled “Facetime,” Jessica purchases a box of uncooked rice, only to discover her phone is inside it. After that, she stands next to an open shelf filled with magazines outside, takes a minute to catch up on some reading right after the opening scene.
I encountered some issues during my visit. One of the items on the menu was unavailable, and I couldn't shake the feeling of being racially profiled. I did appreciate that another customer recognized me from a previous visit.
good stop for fast shopping near columbia. they were nice enough to refuse the credit card for me at least. a bit overpriced in comparison to bahamas deli and other bodegas a few blocks on broadway.
