We were on the night trip through Goslar and we wanted to eat GRIECHISCH for dinner!!! We found the Olympus and quickly realized that it would have been advisable to book a table beforehand. Just after 6:00, all the tables were occupied! After spending another 45 minutes walking through the old town of the evening, we got our two table. The ambience is nice, not too greekly overloaded with figures or paintings like in some other places. The staff is friendly and attentive and does not overlook empty plates or glasses even during the passing. But we waited for our appetizer for just half an hour. We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel which had no restaurant. We went in on spec' and they fitted us in although it was very busy, so I advise to book beforehand. The food was very good and portions plenty. The only downfall was...when we came to pay , only to be told they do not take foreign cards even credit cards, only ones issued by German banks. Luckily we had cash to pay the bill. I found this a let down in a place where there are a lot of tourists and also from other countries.
Not big but friendly and cosy Greek restaurant some metres away from the central Market place. The staff dressed in black was very welcoming. We sat at the back yard in the terrace as the day was rather hot. We did not wait too...long and the traditional Greek food was plentiful and tasty. Now we now its location and would pop in again once we are again the fairly tale town of Goslar
We had dinner with people and were treated like royalty. The service was friendly, fast and efficient and the food hot and tasty. We all had different items from the menu and everybody was very satisfied and full by the end of the evening....The pleasant atmosphere and fair prices on top of that are a reason to recommend this restaurant
