my wife and I have stopped buying a gift card for a friend who visits this restaurant. we had planned to eat there; the place was clean, and the kitchen smelled good. after reading the menu, however, we decided to go somewhere else. they have a great selection of foods: among them many Mediterranean and Indian dishes. it can be very good in the did, but practically everything costs over 10 dollars per company with the average seems closer to 15 to 25 dollars per company. these are restaurant prices and they offer only counter-service and cafeteria style seating. it may be worth these prizes; they have survived a long time at this place. it was simply not tempting enough for me to risk a $40...
I and my mother were in the mood for a cold cut. my mother recommended olympia in parkville because she said that she and her mother always go here before my grandmother died. I have placed an online order for 2 Italian cold cut subparts, a regular order of Curley-Fries and Jalapeño-Poppers. the subs came empty and soggy, the $4 order of the fries was 1/4 of a small baggy full and the poppers had only 4 in them. my mother said the owner must have been gone that day because this has never happened to her. I will not order another part of them again. that was so disappointing for our silvester dinner.
I love this place. Their pizzas are delish and their tasty are good. but I had ordered a few days ago and I wondered why I didn't get any calls to which my fold is here. I looked at my veranda and there was my food. flew around the pizzabox and my drink was out there. my pizza was also cold and my limonade tasted like old books. I hope this never happens again, but frankly, I'm too worried to try again.
It wasn't the pizza we ordered, but it was awesome! I can't wait to try more of their excellent food!
