I don't understand how such a below average place can even afford to be on Castro. Came here for Saturday brunch with my parents. They brought the dessert before the meal. The food was expensive and uninspired; anyone who can scramble eggs and chop a tomato can equal their quality at home. My veggie sandwich had too much mayo and the bread reminded me of basic store-bought wonderbread. The salad was just greens with balsamic, no other veg. Moms florentine scramble was bland, and looked very small for supposedly 3 eggs, it was also an unappetizing color. The people that own/manage this business HATE the 1st amendment. I watched these bullys threaten and call the police on a peaceful person who was not on their property. If they don't like America and the rights we have they should find another country that doesn't have constitutional rights. It's unbelievable that people think they can physically bully people and call gang members with guns. Absolutely DISGUSTING behavior by employees and management. This business should be ashamed of themselves! The innocent man they harassed and threatened deserves an apology. But I highly doubt these anti-american scumbags would do that. Shame shame shame shame shame. I hope this review causes you to lose...

A bit disappointed with the food- not too many vegan options-, but the atmosphere was nice. I wish they would offer plain rice without butter as a side dish. A bit of a chopped up romaine and tomatoes with a few olives, onion rings and 4 falafels for almost $20 didn't seem like a good deal. Parking: Street parking or park at the nearby garage

Very good european style food. Good coffee and cakes. The only drawback was the honking trains passing by, but that's not the restaurant's problem. Vegetarian options: Few options
