We have eaten with guests twice in the last week at Omas Küche and were disappointed with the quality of the food. The Asparagus was not cooked sufficiently and the waitress confirmed that there had been several complaints which had been passed on to the...kitchen without any change it would appear. Schnitzel and Brägele the Schitzel was rather dry and the Brägele were certainly not up to standard, the salads were swimming in vinegrete all in all less than Befriedigend. The servive was as friendly as ever, the problem seems to lie in the Kitchen and at the control level.
Oma's Kuche is a regular calling point for us on visits to Freiburg and over the years it has never let us down. Serving a largely regional menu, schnitzel, steak and wurstsalat are always there alongside seasonal dishes such a Spargle and daily specials. The...food is tasty, not fancy but competently produced and comes in generous portion sizes. The setting is informal, staff friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable. It's tucked out of the way, and not really on the way anywhere. However if you are looking for a pleasant night out its well worth seeking out.
Nice restaurant with a good menu. Schnitzel Wiener Kunst with great salad and goulash. Both dishes cost us well. Everything was done. The service staff welcomed us very friendly and was very attentive. The Dessert Pana Cotta with plums was super nice and very tasty. We liked it.
very generous portions, most of them also really good = good value for money. small to drop off for the late zle, which were clearly too soft to me and thus somewhat ugly, but perhaps the of papa are simply unbeatable as ideal.

Leckeres Essen und einer der wenigen Läden, die deutsche Küche mit veganen Optionen anbietet. Ich hatte das vegane badische Dreierlei und kann es in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen.
Essen war sehr lecker nur der schokokuchen war mir etwas zu bitter. Bedeutet zu hoher Anteil an cacau. Jedoch ist das eine Geschmackssache anderen schmeckt es bestimmt.
Great ambience, very good food with a good price-performance ratio. The services are attentive, friendly and fast. Very recommended!
