Omi Korean Grill - Table reservation

The vibes were cool. The waiters were helpful and answered questions. One waiter would come by often to help cook and cut our food. The grill was often changed and made it difficult to cook food as we had to wait for it to heat up again but it is anunderstandable practice. Personally, I needed a guide or a chart suggesting how long each thing should be cooked as we ended upovercooking most things. Similarly could be said for the pairing with the side dishes and sauces. It was fun to go with friendsbut it can be overwhelming at the same time.

This was mine and my friend's first time at a Korean Grill. The server didn't explain the menus and how ordering/cooking worked. We were not asked if we wanted any drinks other than the water that was brought to the table. Luckily, my friend's partner hadbeen to a place like this before and took the reins for ordering and did all the cooking. Food was ok. Experience wasunderwhelming. Would not go back.
