I'm so disappointed that we've been living here for over a year and that place has happened countless times and never had their pizza until today. My husband and I both agreed it was the best pizza we had in Nova Scotia. The crust is actually perfect. My husband had the meat eater and was so excited to eat it, I got no photo One thing at all meat pizza is that it is often very soggy because of all fats in the meat. This was crispy, well balanced and delicious. I had the Donair pizza because I have an unhealthy dependence on Donair sauce. I was torn between this and the Christmas pizza. Anyway, we'll be back. Lost a star for us because the staff, while very friendly, seemed a bit overwhelmed...
Great pizza — FANTASTIC staff!!! Uses the online ordering platform... but when I arrived to pick up, it discovered that there was a glimm in the system and they had not begun to introduce my order. The employees were MORTIFIED and apologetic - and committed to doing it right. Errors happen... and how a business reacts, says a lot about who they are. So refreshing to deal with a business that trusts, improvises and reacts to problems with their own judgment. A sign of great attitude and good administration. The pizza is the best there in HRM, outside the city center core(s) - but the people (and a good Twitter account) put On The Wedge over the top!
This little pizza shop is my favorite in Halifax. No delivery, but it is worth coming in pizza. The crust is crispy and delish. They won't eat the crust at the end because it has so much taste. I love the Carnivore pizza, I tried the Dill pick one and was blown away how good it is. Think about creamy Dill Pickle.
Someone mentions that they were treated rudely because they were believed to be Chinese. I was never treated rudely because of my skin color, the staff is amazing! The food is good, I'm glad to find a proper meal here!
