What's not to love? Beautiful and warm setting, wonderful service and delicious food. We started with drinks and the firecracker sushi roll. There were huge chunks of lobster in it! We each had a salad, my wedge salad had chunks of Stilton blue cheese and bacon, it could have been its own meal! For entrees my husband had the 12oz filet with garlic butter, medium rare. It was cooked to perfection and the garnish of pickled red onion was genius, it helped cut the richness of the dish. He had a side of au gratin potatoes, they were so creamy and delicious. I hade the 8oz filet lobster Oscar, steak cooked medium. The lobster was buttery, the steak was perfectly cooked and it was served with mash...
I am conflicted for those that have been to a classic NYC steak houses this is not one of them. However, 111 creates its own category in the steakhouse realm. The atmosphere was great but it does have cafeteria vibes when you first walk in. The bar area was a nice section, service was awesome, we had two waitresses that were always around and the steak was good. I have had better but it was good for what it was. The meals we had came with sides already and a soup. Drinks were great and the meals were cooked perfectly. I have been to better steakhouses but if you happen to be in worcester give this place a shot you won't be disappointed.
Great service and delicious food, started with a side salad with bacon and anchovies followed that up with the lobster Oscar I had and it was great. Friend had the lamb shank and the veggies that came with that looked amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you want to treat someone out for a special occasion or a date .
Everything was amazing Drinks, appetizers, dinner-even our waitresses were on top of it! And it was a busy night. 100% should make reservations because you will wait-but even if you do it's worth it!
