This is a unique restaurant with a good-old-day atmosphere of a brick warehouse setting. The restaurant is so named because of its numerous orchestrions (electric-mechanical pianos). Some of these pianos play constantly with the wax perforated scores. It serves good food. With minimum staff, customers order food and drinks at the back counter, were they also pay after dinner. Service fee is included in the bill so no tipping is necessary. Overall it was a nice experience.

Such a unique experience. Highly recommended for curious minds. Arrive early to tour all the music machines. Ask questions, the staff are a wealth of information and experts on these wonderful machines. As many of the tables sit and order at similar times there can be a bit of a wait as they work through it. Take advantage of this time to look around and watch how the machines work! The food is worth the wait and the fountain drinks are a delightful trip back in time!
Very unique restaurant and ambience... self playing instruments, old time charm and organically sourced food makes the visit worth it.The Shrimp Puttanesca and Chicken Breast Saltimbocca were excellent...loaded with veggies and proteins! Apricot Ambrosia from the ancient fountain was unique.will definitely visit again... Reservation is recommendedLove the fact that tip is included...
Orchestria will be added to our frequently visited restaurants. Plenty of parking surrounding restaurant. Nostalgic home feel with a unique musical experience. Drinks are limited to wine and non alcoholic drinks but there is something for everyone. Fun place to go with out of town guests or music appreciation friends. Food is plentiful too. Book a table now
Very unique experience with decoration. Lots of old musical instruments that still work perfectly. Retro decoration and music. Food is great but menu options are typical nice restaurants and moderate variety. Services are great and everyone was friendly. We end up about $50 per person. I would say people should try and experience it.
The food was delicious as always, especially the fountain drinks, which are a specialty. Noise level is because of the antique player pianos! These are another feature—they are scattered around the room and play periodically. I find this delightful, but it can interrupt a conversation when one nearby starts playing.
Out of the way, neighborhood, small restaurant next to the San Jose Stage company. Reasonable prices, limited menu and wine list keeps food very fresh. Enjoyed the strawberry, blue cheese salad, sea bass on a bed of zucchini and potatoes, plus a sorbet with fruit. The Sauvignon Blanc went very well with the meal.
Unique spot with circa 1910 decor and mechanical pianos. Food is good quality. You have to order at the the bar but that's reduces waiters time and that's why they are able to afford the more reasonable service charge included with the bill. All and all good Book a table now
A great place to celebrate a birthday with friends. The instruments and music are outstanding and the staff, if not busy, answered our questions and opened up the instruments to show the mechanisms behind.
The food was not as good as I had thought it would be. ?
