We received a warm welcome on arrival and that friendliness extended until we had to leave replete. This venue is modern but encompasses all needs. Clean tastefully decorated warm and comfortable. We had preordered from an excellent menu and the food was delivered promptly efficiently and where appropriate on hot plates. Our meals were plated thoughtfully and proved delicious. I visited Origins with my girlfriend and we were treated to fantastic food and service. Our waiters were polite and attentive with a great attention to detail. It’s clear that they are in a brilliant learning environment to develop their skills. The starter a leek, potato and parmesan soup was rich and comforting. The main aubergine served with a rich, well balanced sauce and an accompaniment of potato and veg was delicious and well cooked. My only criticism is it was a lot of aubergine and could have done with a little extra flavouring in the cooking but was lovely nonetheless. Had the pleasure of dining at Origins Restaurant tonight. The food was quite simply fantastic. The food that was served by Dan, and his team was an absolute credit to them. The waiting on staff were fantastic, with great attention to detail. At £25 per head, for 5 courses, the value for money is not in question. The menu changes every 3 weeks, so we shall be back Origins has to be one of the best quality food restaurants in town.
I went there for a birthday celebration and it was a true fine dining experience. The lunch menu consisted of three courses and they were all excellent. We were looked after exceptionally well by our waiter Douglas, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good dining experience. Highly recommended.

We went to the Welsh theme night and the food was amazing. The young lady who's night it was politely introduced herself to us and her passion for food and for Wales was infectious. Would love to see where she goes in the future . A premier experience.
