Stopped in for a late breakfast at one of my favorite spots in Connecticut after not eating here for a few years, was still just as amazing! Have been craving their Banana Bread French Toast for so long, thank you Brian and everyone for being so friendly and welcoming! Originally found this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins Dives years ago and went with my family, on the weekend you may find a wait time occasionally but it is WELL worth the wait! Prices are very reasonable too, coffee and french toast mean for $17 dollars, out the door for $20 with a tip. Very pleased!
Felt very uncomfortable. I was waiting in the front for a table when the chef or manager or someone who was in charge at the moment (older man) put his hands on both sides of my hips and moved me, saying he needed walking space. He simply could of used his words but chose to grab my hips. I immediately left and chose another place to eat. Another customer saw it and asked if he manually moved me also.
I always go with something in mind and end of eating something completely different and loving it! They are truly excellent chefs and their experience shows in their gourmet food. So many interesting combinations of flavors and textures. If you are open minded and love food, you will be pleasantly surprised! I feel spoiled everytime I go. I would eat out of that man's dumpster! Lol!
Bring cash, the only way to pay with credit is by loading an App on your phone and selecting the menu items to create your own bill, I was in a rush, and paying took longer than eating Food was really good !! Idk how much it cost!! The waiter had to scan the QR code and pay via his personal phone, and he went pretty quick. He did show me he deleted my CCard data, so all good

This small local place has been around since the 40’s and it looks it. The $11 breakfast sandwich and home fries were good, the coffee was way too strong and the place was not clean. Parking is a hassle. The owner is nice but the place really needs to be cleaned. I will not return
This charming little retro diner offers delicious homemade treats. It has quickly become our go-to spot for breakfast on our way to the beach. I especially love their specials, and the veggie hash is my favorite!
I always order Brian's breakfast. You never know what to expect until he brings it to you and explains what each dish is. It's consistently amazing and completely one-of-a-kind!

I absolutely love O’Rourke’s! I hadn’t visited in a long time, but the food remains outstanding and the service is still welcoming and friendly.
Can't wait to go again! Food was freshly made everyone was kind nice to actually talk to the owner felt like visiting family. A must visit.
