We have been travelling around the West Coast of France and I have to say, food at Iode is the best I have come across. More importantly, you actually get served vegetables instead of frites! Staff are all great. Last night my husband was presented with a crustacea fork. We had never come across this before and the waiter very patiently showed him how to use it. I now know what to get him for Christmas! The view from the table is beautiful...the sea sparkling with the golden sand in the foreground. We had reserved a table for our wedding anniversary more than 3 weeks in advance) in the hope of having a nice place close to the sea and had reconfirmed 48 hours before. Our table was absolutely not reserved and we found ourselves not at all on the beach. We ordered linguine with clams €23 I think); so we had plenty of linguine but without sauce a very light base) with 8 clams, the pasta is expensive and is not even fresh. Despite this we found warm and attentive staff.
Cuisine rating: the dishes offered are good but the choice is limited, particularly the desserts. The preparation of the Gravelax salmon was not up to standard: no marinade. Service rating: a large team present, pleasant but not enough to serve customers. As an illustration of the dirty cutlery and plates on the table which required a request from a server on my part to be removed. Too bad for a 4 star!
Very beautiful setting, beautiful view, but the kitchen is a little tight and the dishes are not plentiful enough, we were still hungry at the end of the meal. The crème brûlée was very good. Cheese platter not sufficiently garnished, no fig jam and served without bread. Friendly but distracted service. Too bad for the price all the same.

following our thalasso weekend, we took advantage of the Friday night sea buffet, very hearty with choice! The spinach salmon pie is delicious! then the breakfast buffet is also excellent and very hearty! The meals offered are excellent, very nice presentation! You're not gonna be disappointed!
After a morning gatseau bath, we went to lunch in this beautiful establishment. bright frame, reactive staff, fast service, quality services, correct rates. I recommend the place. on a beach around the world, you will find the place very appropriate.
Very good cuisine, fine, balanced (dietary) and well mastered. Pleasant atmosphere, top terrace, splendid view…. Quality and inexpensive wines. Very good value for money!
