We had such a wonderful meal at this small little gem in a beautiful village in Parc Mercantour! Husband and wife (I presume) were amazing and look after us so well. My kids gobble the food up. We had a lovely spread (find the pictures) attached. Because of a mix up during the dessert order, they didn’t even charge us from the walnut cake. The sweet lady even got us some lovely lemon cello after our meal... Totally recommend this restaurant! Pls goto saronge and goto this restaurant!

We atrted with a Gin and tonic which seemed very week so we asked for a drop more gin in each .They charged us 11 euros for each drink which we thought was VERY greedy ! We sat outside for dinner. We shared starters of mixed meats, cheese and corn bread which was all fairly good, We chose duck !!?? ragout Not sure if it was duck at all ! plus it was very red as if a tin of tomato soup had been poured over it !. The side salads were good tho Service was also ok.

This is a very special place in the magical hamlet of Saorge. We felt at home from the first minute we stopped by. Later, we had dinner and one of the best steaks my husband has ever had! Friendly people, cool atmosphere, great outdoor space for people watching. That rare truly local place that welcomes the stranger and makes you feel like part of the scene. One of most memorable evenings in France . . .

A delightful terrace high in the ancient town of Saorge. Friendly service and a good menu of varied local, home cooked food. The tagliatelle with truffle and wild mud grooms was a standout item.
