Osteria Posto - Table reservation

Osterio is a certainly fine dining but overall we were disappointed for a number of reasons. For each course, one of us was disappointed in what was served. I started with the Caprese salad , but instead of using succulent heirloom tomatoes, the dish used Tiny cherry tomatoes buried in a huge bed of greens, and the supposedly homemade mozzarella looked and tasted more like shaved Parmesan. The dressing was overly sweet, heavy and did not resemble balsamic vinegarette. Nor did the dish resemble any kind of Caprese salad that I ever had been served. First time at this restaurant. My biggest complaint I had was I have an allergy and felt the majority of their salads, appetizers, and entrees included these ingredients. Also, I find most restaurants and chefs accommodating and no manager or chef came out to discuss this with me. In addition, the service was slow, and not sure if this is due to the number of staff members working due to the pandemic but overall neither my husband nor I found the food favorable and wouldn't dine there again

The food was very good, and service was good. The prices charged for the meals were higher than the prices posted on the menus. Note that depending on where you sit in the covered patio area, you will have to deal with the overwhelming roar coming from the highway

seared gnocchi and roasted chicken was good. Drinks were excellent. The chicken parm was really less than average. Wouldn't order that again. But we do want to come back as everything else was great

Amazing food, excellent service. Great wine. I could not recommend them more highly
