Went to this restaurant on the queens birthday public holiday, the restaurant appeared to be short staffed; we were attended to about every 15-20 minutes; we were given menus, then about 15 minutes later our waiter came to take our drinks order; part of the order was table water, which came about 15 minutes later thr table water and glasses which turned out to be filthy. When we finally got the waiters attention again he apologised for the mistake and took them away... Came back about 15 minutes later with clean glasses. We then asked where our other drinks were and he told us they were in their way... they'd just had a bunch of coffee orders come in before ours- there was only 1 person behi...
Waited over 1 hour for a table even with booking, people that arrived after us were served first. The waitress was very friendly but didn't save the night, the hostess was careless. We ordered the full rack that was very dry, the sides dishes that comes as sides are a joke, the coleslaw had not dressing, no taste, the fries were a very small portion size and the vegetable again had no taste at all.The meat was cold and the famous onion very oily.The waitress offered us one free dessert (they charged $2 for it and we had to share a small dessert btw 3 people) because we had to wait for so long, and it came while we were still in the middle of the meal.If you ever had a good experience at Outb...
Booked a table for 5 people on a Sunday night. The restaurant was full but we were one of the first to arrive. The food was good and the steak delicious. However, at every step, from booking, to arriving at restaurant, to the meal itself, the service is just not up to scratch. One of the mains did not arrive, and had to ask 3 different waiters (trying to get their attention each time). Meal finally arrived, after the others had finished eating. They offered an apology when it arrived but it was disappointing that they never noticed themselves. Unfortunately we had a guest from overseas & it was their meal that was delayed so it wasn't a great advertisement for Australian service.
From what I remembered of the Outback restaurants in Brazil and Mexico, i expected the food to be really good but I was disappointed.Although the service was good, the food was not tasty at all, I would dare to say that it was low quality meat, and the different sauces taste the same, almost like the base stock is the same for all the sauces and then they add pepper or mushroom or wine, but there was no difference in taste.It was very expensive for the quality of food received. And also the beer selection was limited and when I asked for one that was identified in the menu as tap, they said that it was bottle, not tap.

We all enjoyed our meals, and they were quite different. Chicken salad, seafood board and bone in prime beef. Atmosphere is good, food was quite good, however a little salty on the seafood. Oh, but the accompanying caesar salad was very bland and boring. Lettuce with a sprinkle ?, of the expected stuff, no egg or dressing. Service was not that great considering how many staff were there. We had to pull up a girl, and she was lovely, but seemed she was working harder than the others. Would I go back? Yes.
had dinner here last night it's a very busy place even at 6 o'clock family hour, the staff are friendly and helpful food is average for the price as it's American trying to be Australian you are fortunate to benefit of unlimited refills of sugary drinks(soft drinks). Had the rib eye on the bone $42 with a choice of two sides the only downside is that it's not flame grilled it's cooked on a flat plate. The chocolate brownie dessert is the one to order the best item on the menu
Not sure how they justify these prices with the ghostly lack lustre service. Medium rare steak came out medium well.Salmon fillet was overcooked and paired raw ribbons of zucchini and browned raw fennel not dressed or seasoned. Chimchurri sauce was absolutely disgusting.Most of our food was cold after waiting a while for our dishes. Spend your money elsewhere because not only will the below average food leave you in poor taste but the bill will send you over the edge.
My family and I have been eating here for about five years. We have not been for about 12 months and ate there this evening and I was disappointed. Service was good, food average - some parts warm not hot and the beer glasses were not clean and the beer flat. Will not be heading back for a repeat performance.

Unfortunately the very poor service spoiled the experience. Food was average but not outstanding. One of our friends did not recieve thier whole meal and drink service was slow. We have tried this place twice now and after recieving poor service both times, will not be returning.
