I am the owner of a pizzeria in Birmingham that is ranked number 2 on Tripadvisor. I am proud to say that this place truly deserves all the praise it receives. Whenever I return home, I always make sure to order from here because the cooking is absolutely perfect. The base is toasted just right with delicious charred spots for added flavor. The crust is well risen, toasted to a beautiful brown color, and has a chewy yet crispy texture. The variety of toppings is excellent (I especially recommend the pepperoni and gorgonzola with chili). And all of this is done in just 30 minutes. If you are looking for pizza that can rival the best in Birmingham, look no further! Good pizza should be shared...
I have ordered delivery from this restaurant three times now. Twice it took an hour and a half to arrive (even though it's only 3 miles away) and today it didn't arrive at all. When I called after an hour and a half, they said it was on its way. When I called back half an hour later, they said the order hadn't gone through, so they were not being honest. As a goodwill gesture, they offered a free bottle of soda, which was quite disappointing. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
Average Friday night. 19.35 ordered via Food Hub. Estimated delivery time 35-40 minutes 20.40 still no pizza. Called and spoke with them. Apologies. Told it would be another 20 minutes 21.20 still no pizza. Called to see where it was. Shop hung up on me 21.24 pizza arrived The pizza is lovely but the communication and delivery time is terrible. I would recommend as long as you are ok to wait 2 hours for delivery
Amazing pizza. Proper thin crust Italian style rather than the processed cheese and bread rubbish so many take away pizza places try to pass off as pizza these days. Lovely toppings, quick service, friendly staff. Only disappointment is I’ve lived in Sutton for years and never knew it was there! Ordered twice in two weeks now and is already a family favourite. Best pizza I’ve had in England
We ordered tonight and it took 2 hours to arrive. no apology, nothing. Hubby phoned and lots of just round the corner . It 's a shame, because the pizza is delicious. I echo other reviews that the starters and deserts are nasty, cheap and clearly just bought in.
Have been going to Pala’s for months because the pizza is just so good! It was my birthday this weekend and I decided to order their 1/2 metre pizzas and they did not disappoint Everybody was asking where the pizza was from! Amazing as always, see you again soon
I have been a patron of this restaurant since they first opened. The pizzas are delectable and the lasagna is always a crowd favorite. The staff and delivery drivers are always friendly and courteous.
Great pizza always lovely. But tell your delivery driver not to ring the bell and then walk around to immediately peer into someone’s front room! It’s weird and intrusive and just inappropriate.
Starters are extremely poor. Not roasted, contrary to their advertising, rather drowned is a watery sauce and utterly tasteless. Pizza was average at best.
