This seemed like a good and fun idea at first sight: cheap and cheerful Chinese restaurant right on the waterfront; a good number of takeaway dishes - and with a sit-down option, either inside or out in the garden.In fact, the food – all helpfully laid out at the counter so you could pick by sight – tasted very ordinary indeed. Think most British Chinese takeaways. Here again was the old problem of everything sitting under counter heaters for far too long, and all glistening in the same, sticky monosodium glutamate sauce.But the food was at least tolerable, hot and not that bad. Our nems (eggrolls) dripped grease and our stirfries were completely without seasoning, even though we'd requested spicy. And what kind of Asian restaurant charges for white rice served with an entree? Buy a can of chop suey at the grocery store and save yourself a lot of euros.
Great food in a beautifully decorated restaurant. On nice days, the outside tables border a lovely small pond that you can cross on a quaint little bridge. Very welcoming staff. Strongly suggest this restaurant to Chinese food lovers.
