This place scores top points for location! We have been here on a number of occasions- as a family for icecream, coffee and food and I have taken visiting friends and relatives. I found the jacket potato tasted as if it had been cooked on a previous day as it wasn’t great but the homemade quiche is wonderful. I like to taste the locally produced drinks and food. My children love the icecream. Service can be a little slow at times and it can be a bit confusing as they have an odd system where one waiter takes an order but can’t help with anything else and another brings the food... so don’t visit if in a rush! Firstly, it is not closed it now has , since May 2014 I believe, a new owner. It is bright, colourful, with a lovely view of the gardens. Very nice tea, coffee excellent cake at very affordable prices. Comfortable chairs, didn't notice we were there 2 hours. Ticketing system for cake was a bit of a mystery but when it finally came, no one was disappointed. Very pleasant tea break.
Beautifully located and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately a little uncomfortable and minimalistic cake selection. The staff is very friendly, but if you get the coffee glued to a non wiped outdoor table, it does not seem very welcoming. And 45 minutes waiting for a simple waffle is just too long... because the coffee was cold... because you can certainly improve
My wife and I celebrated our wedding there on Saturday. What should I say it just fits everything!!! In advance, we expressed smaller wishes, which were easily met and that at no cost. The food tasted excellent and the staff in the kitchen and behind the counter were very helpful. I would recommend the Palmhaus Café to my friends.

Well situated in the middle of the Botanical Garden. Can sit outside or inside the green house. Very pretty. Primarily offers tea/coffee and cake (good selection). Unfortunately when we were there the waiting staff were under a lot of pressure resulting in slow service.
Really nice location. But in summer it will be very warm in this glass house. Some chairs are not suitable for Propper because very narrow. But definitely pays a trip if you want to meet nicely on Sunday afternoon.
Beautiful café with colorful furniture and great views. Also available for celebrations. I just drank a caappucino with waffle and smoothie. It was delicious. All right.
With friends we went there for coffee and cake. A very nice environment the staff were very attentive and he cakes lovely.
