Modern Israeli Cramped, Hurried, Rip Off Joint My partner and I are a laid-back, unfussy, not unfashionable, professional couple living in the heart of London (South Bank , who have been eating out in Central London regularly since we were students more than 20 years ago. The couple who joined us at Palomar earlier this week might be described similarly, save that they’re from North London. They also eat somewhat less than we do and are more into the catch-ups than the food. We usually go to places with a prix fixe menu at lunchtime. These are usually not so heavy on portions and calories, have nicely complimentary dishes, and quite often are something of a bargain. Our unpleasant experience...

I'd give this place 6* if it was possible. The food was totally mouthwatering, flavourful delicious. Our waitress was extremely helpful in guiding us with menu choices. How the team prepares presents their fare from the Galley Style kitchen is truly amazing. A Birthday Treat I shan't forget in a hurry. Certainly on the expensive side but worth it. One tiny criticism the music was too loud. I asked for it to be turned down a little as it was difficult to hear the waitress and my companions even though we were seated round a fairly small table. Didn't mar the experience, though.
Ate here recently and really enjoyed the experience. We sat at the bar overlooking the cooking which was still quite comfortable with plenty of room. Food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Yes portions aren’t large and it isn’t cheap but neither were a major issue for us. We both felt full when we finished and the quality of food and service made us feel it was money well spent. Would definitely recommend and you need to book if you want to eat here.
we have been welcomed in a very nice way by Matthew. Gentlemen like. Sititmg at the bar was key because we were incredibly served by Jay and Louis there. We got a perfect menu introduction and the quality of food and beverage was absolutley magnificent. We will highly recommend The Palomar to family and friends. It was a great experience for us. Best wishes and please keep up with your quality level. Regina Claus Book a table now
from the beginning everything was on the run. we felt like pushing the tray and let 's eat quickly so that others can come. avoid octopus as much as possible, which is hard and tasteless. the chicken is ok, nothing special, and the ribeye is something you can also cook at home. forget desserts because they are a joke. and wait, you would eat against the clock : we will definitely not visit this place again.
overall: everything was extremely delish finger-licking. dishes are made for sharing quite small, hence would recommend going in small groups. kubaneh : extremely fluffy buttery, look at that beautiful aerated dough! i prefer to enjoy it by itself as the sauces makes it slightly soggy. white bean m’sabacha
Tapas style restaurant where the food and staff were both amazing. The items we chose were delicious as well as beautifully presented. A great vibe. It’s a small place, so make a reservation if you can. Not quiet, but not overwhelmingly loud. Our host Paul was super friendly and helpful! Highly recommended.
Fantastic Israeli tapas restaurant. Sit on the bar and see your dishes made in front of you. Also, absorb the heat from the kitchen. Very interested experience! From the dishes, I would highlight Jerusalem mix and beef tartar. I'm surprised to find just a single Israeli wine on the menu, though Book a table now
Each dish was delicious. The hummus and baba ganoush were spot on. The chicken and and hake intensely flavored. The drinks were well made. Only disappointment was the baklava ice cream sandwich the phyllo was soggy. Would happily recommend
