I felt underestimated because of my English language skills, which led to being treated poorly and charged extra for items without clear communication. They should either provide clearer signage or inform customers about additional charges. When I raised my concerns at the counter, I was made to feel like I was causing trouble. It’s disheartening to experience this kind of attitude, especially as someone of Asian descent. I’m grateful that I’m not Chinese, but it’s important to remember that not all East Asians are alike.
