My mum and I popped in here for lunch. The owner greeted us in a very friendly way and was attentive and helpful. We were offered 2 types of soup and 2 main dishes to choose from. I felt if we had spoken German, we would have been able to read a more extensive menu as the specials board seemed much bigger than 2 dishes. The vegetable soup as very salty but otherwise ok although it would have been nice to have been served with some bread. Happened across this place when looking for somewhere to get some lunch. Lucky us! Friendly, warm, welcoming and charming. Person behind the counter very happy to change from German to English to chat with us and as they don't have a menu and cook everything fresh - talked us through what they had. Soup was lovely and just perfect to warm us up on a cold day. Followed by another full description of the cakes which resulted in a delightful apple pastry and great coffee. What more could you want. Will look this place up if I ever return to the beautiful city of Vienna.

the little cafe have found my son and I on the way to the natural-historical museum. we sat at the top of the window. beautiful ambiente, owner is very friendly, the breakfast (cnusprige semmel, butter, touches, croissant, melange and kakao) for 15 euro really good and the money worth -all very fresh, butter not packed and plentiful. cakes also looked very good, but we did not try. only the hot chocolate found my son not so delicious, tasted a little after finished cocoa. beautiful midstop at the muses, I would visit again at any time.

Walked past and popped in as seemed nice. Was welcomed (spoke perfect English) and talked through the menu. We order tea with rum (very popular and very nice on a cold day) and lasagna and quiche with salad, plus finished with apple strudel.Everything was great, and we highly recommend drinking/eating here.
