We ultimately decided to simplify things and just ordered soup to speed up the process. Although it took a little while to receive our order, the place was quite busy. Locating the beverages was also a challenge; the iced coffee was located with the sodas, not at the coffee stand, and those drink stations were situated halfway across the restaurant. This was not clearly explained, even when we asked. Despite the challenges, it was evident that most customers were familiar with the system, while we were not regulars. I had a terrible experience today, November 12, at 2:30 PM. The cashier rolled her eyes at me when I asked a question about the self-checkout not working. I sought help from a so-called manager, who seemed disinterested and told me that if I wanted to place a food order, I should go with her or that the door was always open because he was too busy to waste his time. I've been a regular customer and have always felt welcomed here, but after today, I'm uncertain whether I'll return. If I were the manager and had an issue with a cashier, I would personally take the order to ensure the customer leaves happy.
I've had some frustrating experiences with this restaurant. My grab-and-go order is often not placed on the shelf for pickup, which means I have to ask someone to retrieve it from the cart where it's been sitting for a while. About 25% of the time, my order is missing something. Today, the staff member I encountered was rude to both me and another customer. Just last week, my wife noticed an employee cursing very loudly. It seems like they could really use more adult supervision at this establishment.
The girl taken or order very nice and the one sitting next to her seemed mad she had to get up and help her. She could put a smile on her face and said, Have a nice day. I've worked Retail 19 year and still doing it. Yes,I've had my bad days but,whena guest comes up to pay I put a smile on my face. Tell myself ,this is your job and you want them to keep coming back. I don't know how they're so busy all the time. Just slightly above average food but the French Onion Soup was TERRIBLE. No way does it even resemble FOS. Order it and see for yourself. Then return it like I should have.
