Had met out of town friends at the Seekonk location. It was a delightful gathering and a casual place to meet and hang out for awhile. I ordered a half and half soup and salad. Soup was satisfying but my chicken and strawberry salad left me disappointed.I had ordered this item several years ago and it was amazing, not not as much.They did serve chunks of oven baked chicken with fresh strawberry. Noe the chicken is sliced and had no structure it was sliced chicken loaf, akin to deli sliced roast turkey. To soft no bite to it at all, and the strawberries seemed mushy like frozen strawberries, instead of fresh strawberries! Overall the salad did not live up to the standard of that first strawbe...
This is one of the better Paneras with ONE HUGE FLAW: check your bag before you leave. If you ordered a side of chips or bread, especially if you're doing pick up, you'll likely NOT find it in the bag and have to ask for it. Though since fruit cups are a separate side that's fine.Again missing sides seems to be the only big issue but...for someone like my who wanted my chips It IS an issue. ILL EVEN PROMISE: It gets it's fifth star beside once it stops forgetting to add the chips to takeout orders!
My ceaser salad was only the white part of the romaine lettuce...I only eat vegetables due to a health condition and I could even eat this food....I asked for the most green lettuce they could do and got none...also they originally put chicken on it after saying no chicken 3 times while placing my order....their service has really gone down hill...I use to be happy to get a salad from there and now I dont want to try it yet again since this isnt the first time
I order pickup from here a few times a month and my order is always correct and this location has speedy service and plenty of parking. The dinning room isn't always the cleanest but I think it's just due to the volume of customers in and out in a short period of time. The prices are high but it's clean food and the portions could be better but all paneras serve the same size portions.
