We were a larger party of 10 and had made reservations. Our table was ready for us when we arrived and the owner (I think) welcomed us. Several people had been here before. There are options for everyone. I had the vegetarian sampler, which was delicious and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant has great ambience with Afghan artwork and crafts adorning the walls. Highly recommend.
One of my favorite restaurants in Falls Church! The food is fairly priced and packed with flavor, everything I've tried on the menu I have loved. The atmosphere is intimate and the service is wonderful. I've grown close with the owner, as I eat here several times a month. I always look forward to eating here to talk with the staff and have amazing food. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
Excellent Afghan Food and Service. The Quorma Seib (Apple Quorma) was delicious and will be ordered again and again. The kabobs were all cooked perfectly, and the Green Tea with Mint and honey was nice to keep it all washed down. Both desserts The Toasted Almond Cake and Chocolate Firnee were Amazing! If you have not been here, now is the best time to go!
Food was awful, the owner sucks at greeting guests. Once a Muslim man asked him for a prayer rug and his response was very rude and unpleasant. As a Muslim he could’ve said sorry we don’t have a prayer rug but uou can perform your prayer outside on a chair just to respect his own people as an afghan and Muslim. I don’t think he is a Muslim though Book a table now
I love this restaurant so much, and I want to visit every time I am in the area! The food is so delicious, and they have lots of wonderful vegetarian options. I highly recommend their mashawa soup (amazing), kadu chalow (pumpkin), sabsi chalow (spinach), and seib chalow (apples).
Authentic Afghan cuisine with many long-time customers. Their kadu palau is the best in the area, and everything is wonderful, so although decisions are difficult, you'll never be disappointed. It has been our favorite since about 1992. Go there, you'll go back!
Smiling faces, delicious food and clean space. We’ll definitely come back here frequently now whenever we don’t want to cook at home.
