I had a really frustrating experience at this restaurant. The person at the register struggled to understand our order and almost placed it incorrectly. Thankfully, he repeated it back to confirm, but then he quoted us a total of over $50 for two pizzas, which was acceptable. However, what really bothered me was when he reached over to the card machine and added a tip without asking. I was definitely going to tip, but it's quite audacious to add your own tip after almost messing up our order! We were so close to leaving right then and there, but I’ve been looking forward to Papa John's all week and drove 30 minutes to get there. In downtown Port Chester with very little parking. There are metered parking spots to the side and a Walgreens around the block. The counter people were nice and helpful.I have never been to a Papa Johns and I wanted to give it a try. I wanted to relive my childhood nostalgia and got the stuffed crust pizza. For fast food pizza, it definitely wasn't bad. I thought the dough was kinda bland but the stuffed crust really saved the day. The sauce was the bad, it reminded me of Pizza Hut from back in the day. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Papa John’s in Port Chester, NY. My friend and I ordered pizza, and when we requested tap water to go with our meal, we were told it wasn’t available and were pressured to buy expensive bottled water instead. It’s very disheartening when a restaurant prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction, especially when we had already paid for our food. This kind of service leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I hope Papa John’s takes customer concerns more seriously in the future. Wow, it was our first time trying Papa John's pizza, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! We ordered a veggie pizza for a late dinner through Uber, and it arrived quickly, still warm despite being a 15-minute drive away. The crust was fantastic—soft and airy, yet thick and satisfying. The vegetables were fresh, and the cheese was generous without being overpowering or overly processed like at some other places. The sauce might not be for everyone; it tastes more like fresh, uncooked tomatoes, which could be a bit acidic for some, but we really enjoyed it. This was our first experience, and it definitely won’t be our last.

I ordered pizza, cheese sticks, and breadsticks for three people, requesting a total of four cheese dipping sauces since we all wanted some. However, they only gave us two sauces, despite my request. Because the boxes were taped shut, we didn't realize this until we got the food inside. I promptly called the store and was told they would send the driver back with the missing sauces as soon as possible. It’s been 90 minutes since my call, and no one has returned. Considering you have to pay extra for the sauces, this feels like theft. I will never order from this location again—extremely disappointing service!
The pizza with garlic sauce was exceptional! The brownies were delightful as well. However, I ordered a regular Pepsi with my meal but ended up with a Diet Pepsi, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that small mistake, the food was truly fantastic!
I ordered from Papa Johns Pizza and the pizza arrived cold, with the cheese dried out as if it had been sitting for a long time. Considering the high prices on their menu, I was very disappointed with the food quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Pizza is delicious. Very prompt delivery. And when I called to have some thing added to the order, the gentleman who answered, was very kind and accommodating. No complaints at all. Very good experience. Will definitely go back again.
