Yes, the girl taking orders (I presume the owner's daughter) was friendly and very helpful, and the service was quick, probably...because there weren't many people in there, but that did surprise me because it was Saturday night. We had a table of seven tonight, the starter took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive. We sent all of the mains back uneaten, the lamb was cold, the plates were dirty. This restaurant needs closing down by either the council or environmental health....To apologise for the terrible meal the waiter did offer us all free cherry brandy, but as we were all not drinking alcohol this didn't help the situation. It looks like it has not been cleaned since the and I would say it is the worst restaurant in Dorset, without doubt. Dreadful evening
Visited Indian restaurant for a meal for four. Very friendly and personal service with reasonable priced menu. I had a nice set meal for one but it felt like for Taste was so nice and food was well prepared. After the meal the manager...stopped to talk to ask how we was and told us some nice history about the restaurant. Never had an experience like this before in a food establishment. Will love to go back soon but with more people so they to can experience the flavours and hospitality that I did.
I would say, if you are loner and like deserted place. This place is for you, when i went last time no one was present. I ordered took min to come in. Food was just ok, nothing special as i was hoping for. Same...food i can try and prepare at home also. other eaters came, solo and a couple. Looking at them, looks like they are a bit psychotic. Great food as allways being veggie it is nice to have a good selection of food to choose from. I have been eating here for many years and would not go anywhere else in Bournemouth for Indian food. Great service and beautiful flavors in the...food. Nothing is too much trouble for the team here. So nice to have such good service and made to feel so welcome. I will be visiting for many years to come.
I eat here often! If you like traditional Indian food, this is the place for you! The oldest Indian restaurant in Bournemouth and, in my opinion, the best for taste. Everything is cooked from scratch so can be cooked to your style and preference! This...is not your typical takeaway with bright food colouring used, it's simply authentic, definitely one to try!
From the outside this place looks quite ordinary but the food is great and the service is very good and friendly. The only Indian that I have visited with a waitress!
If you like grey unflavoured food with no atmosphere you will have a great time Went there with two other couples only one person had a nice meal
