"bland. I would have to evaluate this as a very common and schottic-alianic eating. if they like rounded aromes, rounded experiences and think that most dings in life are simply good, then they will enjoy it. if they think that average is synonymous for mediocre, they will not."

Edinburgh during the Fringe, it's busy, busy, busy so you may need to look a little further afield to find a table on a Friday Evening than just the Mile or down the Grassmarket. My buddy and I had just seen a show... Okay that's not strictly true we had seen Monsters University at Fountain Park, yeah not so cool now! As we were already on the south-side of the city we thought we would head down to Bruntsfield and see where was able to squeeze us in. papilio restaurant – edinburgh – 10/04/2014 it is again this time of the month and the food club in bruntsfield for an Italian joy. the restaurant is rustic and well located. we managed to park directly outside and had a good place in the middle of the restaurant. the it was busy and had a good atmosphere that is always positiw. we ordered our usual beers to break the night. peroni was an obvious choice, but they can't go wrong with it. very friendly staff from the beginning and ensured that we were comfortable and waited for the remaining 2 of our group. they were in the pub. we got focaccia mozzarella for the table to repel the dinge and no one can argue...read more

this is a nice cozy place, which is very good priced, and seems to be family-run. the restaurant is very family-friendly and always seems to be flowering. this is not the place to bring her Italian friends, which is what I would have found in Britain during the 80s, cooked Italian cuisine for brides. nice eating, but not quite the delicate or fresh, the Italian cuisine requires. it felt like there were many doses that were opened to make our meal. not where I would go again.
