The food was decent, but it was definitely overpriced. If I’m spending $8 or more on a sandwich or burger without fries, I expect it to be exceptional. Adding $3 for fries means they should be outstanding as well. Unfortunately, the quality resembled that of McDonald’s, but at gourmet prices. If the prices reflected the quality, I might consider eating there again.
The food was cold and the service was lacking. It took a long time for us to receive our meals. After waiting 20 minutes, we were informed that they were out of the Philly steak sandwich, and then we ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes for our food, which was served cold. The only item that was hot was the replacement Philly cheese sandwich.
I held my nephew's birthday party here today, and it was fantastic! All the waitresses got involved and even sang "Happy Birthday." If you’re looking for a fun place to celebrate a birthday—whether for kids or adults—definitely check out Pappy's!
