I drove from California to Pennsylvania for my 60th college reunion at Lafayette in Easton. After the reunion, I visited friends in Bethlehem, where Judy, the wife of the late Ted Meixell, a famed sports commentator, took me to Paprikas. As two friends of Hungarian heritage, we knew exactly what to expect, and it did not disappoint!
The restaurant offered pickled beets and cucumber salad, both of which were absolutely delicious. Of course, we tried the chicken paprikas served with authentic galuska (dumplings), and it was fantastic. Their stuffed cabbage was truly exceptional, and the palacsinta (crepes) for dessert were even better than what my mom used to make!

I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant, and every part of my experience was exceptional. The food was incredibly delicious and deserves a perfect score. The service was also top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made the dining atmosphere warm and welcoming. I strongly recommend trying the stuffed cabbage; it was a highlight of the meal that I truly loved!
We absolutely adore this restaurant! Every time we visit Lehigh Valley, it’s one of the first places we want to go. The food is incredible, and the portions are quite generous—it feels just like dining at your grandmother’s house. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they never disappoint us!
