Bar Parada is a small cafe bar right on the main street of Los Canarios (the main village of Fuencaliente) and it is the ideal place to enjoy coffee, fresh orange juice or a drink at the end of a long day walking around the volcanoes and forests. They sell very good almond biscuits and if you spend a bit of time here you will have a glimpse of village life as locals come and go for their cortados and chats.
¡Parada obligatoria! Un lugar con encanto y con el mejor bocadillo de queso blanco palmero y pata asada. Los almendrados también son un espectáculo (si vas temprano puedes ver como preparan los almendrados y almendras garrapiñadas
Called in for a coffee whilst visiting Fuencaliente and our drinks were accompanied by two biscuits which were so nice we bought the bar no not really but we did buy a packet as they were delicious.
Popped in here for a freshly squeezed orange juice beer and enjoyed the complementary almond biscuits so much so that I bought several packets to take home as gifts. Book a table now
almonds are very good, even raptures are very good, compared to those you can find out there, but the attention is lousy. They should improve this point quite a lot.
