We haven 't figured out why it took us so long to try Parallel, but my husband and I are hooked. There is an extensive variety of wines, bottled beers, and whiskeys, but it is the staff and the food that keep us coming back. All of the menu items are described as 'sharing plates ' so you can feel free to order as little or as much as you like. Do not miss the grilled romaine salad, the baked cheese dip, or the new Hog Heaven burger. Come back next week and the staff will welcome you like old friends. Absolutely excellent!
We chose to stop in for a mid-week date night based on Yelp reviews, and I 'm glad we did! We originally opted for patio seating due to the gorgeous evening, but quickly moved indoors once our server gave us a tour and showed us the wine machine! We chose to snack on appetizers (sliders and duck fat fries were amazing! while sampling wines on Wine Machine Wednesdays (20% off wine from the machines! . Overall, a wonderful, upscale experience that helped us through our hump day!
Foodies will delight in the shareable small plates at this restaurant. However, the portions are small and may be pricey for those with a hearty appetite. The wine selection is excellent, with a wide variety of reds and whites. It would be nice to see a few more less oaky wines added for those who prefer them. The wine flights offer a great way to sample different offerings at a fair price.
The big board meat cheese tray is a great starter. The pork belly is very good. We got the entire dessert tray and shared it between four of us. Perfect way to go. Normally I 'm not into sharing my food but this place is really built around smaller portions and sharing. Oh, got the 10 yr. port buy the bottle and take it home a little pricey per glass.

We celebrated a 65th birthday at Parallel Wine Bistro and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Cynthia was our server and she was very attentive. She had a good understanding of all the menu items and wines available. We had never been there before, but we will certainly go back!
