went here for food to night shocking service the waitress and i think may have been the owner not sure but i had to tell them a few times no ive not finished with my popadoms they no sooner bought them to me and they wanted to take them away then and not only that i ordered a chiken tikka missala which i wanted sweet and creamy sorry we cant do tikka sweet well ive had that done in other indian restaurants made to my choice of prefrence no problem what so ever. this upset my whole night so i had another meal on the menu which she said was sweet i thought but it was the tikka i was after sorry but wont be returning here. what made it worse was i think it was done on purpose as the guy said af...
The decor hasn't changed for 30 years and that is part of the charm of this lovely British Indian restaurant. The quality of the food is first class. The menu is traditional British Indian with Baltis ,Jalfrezi, Dhanzak etc. We ate here on 25/11/2022. Naan bread straight from the tandoor, fluffy inside and coated in ghee. Wonderful tandoori chicken on the bone, the Lamb Biriani was exceptionally good. There is nothing innovative about this place, and that's why we keep coming back. The feeling of sitting down in a familiar and welcome environment and eating delicious food will always put a smile on our faces.
Recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant and was very disappointed. Waited over an hour for the food to arrive, only to find out that one of the curries was missing. They had to send it separately via taxi. The chicken in the dishes used to be in nice strips, but now it is square and rubbery. Will not be ordering from here again.
Have eaten in the restaurant, but normally have a take away. Husband loves the Persian Biriyani, we both like the Onion Bhaji. But tonight: Ordered a Peshwari Naan, got a plain one, and my Dal was basically yellow over salted water, disgusting Will try again, just hoping the next dal actually has lentils and far less salt.

The curry lacked flavor and the service was inconsistent, as they got our drinks wrong and left in the middle of taking our order to attend to another customer. This made us feel unimportant. Overall, the experience was just okay but we won't be returning, especially considering the high prices.
I had a good night yesterday I went with my friends. When we went the restaurant was fully packed the service was amazing the food was outstanding can’t wait to go back it’s been a while since I had it really enjoyed it. See you soon
I ordered takeout for 6 people and we selected a variety of dishes. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the tandoori prawns and onion bhaji. It was a great meal for everyone. Thank you.

Went for a meal yesterday with all my friends we all enjoyed it as the customer service was excellent and the meal was lovely as usual.
The food was amazing and so was the service. Will definitely be seeing me and my family again soon.
