This place deserves 20 stars! One of THE BEST places in the USA I have visited. The food is phenomenal: it’s creative, delicious, made to the table, and the presentation is UNBELIEVABLE! Incredible atmosphere, fresh wild flowered on a table, old school soft jazz music played on a turn table !! , and a cozy warm feeling of a small European restaurant we felt like on a vacation abroad and not in NJ. Our server Francesca was just outstanding she described every meal with such a passion that my partner and I wanted to order everything on the menu. My husband and I dined here the other night for my birthday. We sat in the kitchen at the chef’s table. It was such a wonderful experience. Every bite of food we had was amazing and flavorful. The bread, desserts, and pasta are made fresh, the meat is selected from a great butcher, and the soda is homemade! It was great to see how much care and attention the chef and sous chef put into each plate. Every staff member really gives 110% to their role. The service was very attentive and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner and brunch! I can’t wait to go back!
Most incredible food I’ve ever eaten! I love the atmosphere. The restaurant is cozy with only a handful of tables and Pink Martini on the record player. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner and chef, Phil, came out of the kitchen and introduced himself to us. You can tell he takes such pride in his food and his restaurant. The host/manager/owner, Frankie, was the sweetest, kindest person I’ve ever met. What an amazing experience! Love, love, love this place! I cannot wait to go back.
We've been here three or four times and every time it is truly a delight. Although it's relatively under the radar, I'd confidently say this is some of the best food in the Philadelphia area. When Michelin comes here this restaurant is deserving of some stars. I cannot sing enough praise this restaurant.
