Went in at lunchtime today and two young members of staff wanting to charge a customer extra to wrap the chips separately from a boxed fish. Staff should have just served chips in a bag to avoid the extra charge argument. Seems odd they put fish bites in a box anyway just wrap everything in paper totally agreed with him tbh! Charging for packaging is crazy.
The fish and chips at this restaurant are consistently excellent. The batter is always perfect and the chips never fail to impress. Cooking them in beef dripping just adds to the delicious flavor. The gravy is rich, thick, and indulgent. I've been coming here for 5 years and it never disappoints. Hands down, the best fish and chips in Bingley.
Ryanair of chip shops. Asked for chips separate from fish and there is an extra charge. Should have ordered separately, but buyer beware, Salt and Vinegar maybe next to be charged. Poor customer service for Bingley, Kurt’s fish and chips much more friendly and values your custom more .
The chips with my fish were shocking. Fish was fine but not one chip longer than 3/4 inch. Drove back down with them on my plate. I was offered a refund on the chips but not the point. Sounds petty I know. In my opinion Park Road fisheries massively overrated. Buyer beware. Book a table now
Got there at 5 minutes before they closed and wouldn't put a fish in for me. Offered me full price for stuff that had been lying in the hot plate that was about to hit the bin. I've had fish and chips here before I they are very good.
i have visited a few times now and always consistent, to the great food, perfect and enjoyable and to the smart and welcoming front of house and chefs, good service like this is always appreciated as much as the premium food
The Fish and Chips at this restaurant are consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Their online ordering option is very convenient, especially since parking outside can be crowded.
