Lived, but expected because they work with half capacity. Waiting was about an hour and half; we came around 10a on a Sunday. Gift shop was open and beautiful walking through and The Outpost had delicious maple donuts and HOT cedar (also available coffee, water, tea, cold cedar). Service was so pleasant. The food was delicious. Great experience as a whole. Definitely worth the 45-minute drive.
Year in year out. Parker 's is worth the trip up to breakfast in the woods as I call it for my visiting friends. The sampler trio is worth the calories. You must come with an appetite... feeling adventurous try the ribs and eggs... my friend from georgia loved them. Recommend visiting the gift shop while exploring the grounds.
They're busy on weekends. You open at 8 (not 7 as Google Maps shows). We arrived at 7:50 and there were already about 10 parties before us. Sure, everything that comes with maple syrup is worth a try. Today they had apple pancakes that were very good. The service was fast.
The wait was about an hour and a half, but the food was really good. Due to covid they could not pack the restaurant as they normally would. The servers were very polite. All around a good experience.
