We arrived 25 minutes before the table and ordered cocktails. The staff was reminded three times, but never came. We canceled them. We went to the restaurant 2 minutes after the time and were said table not ready to be 5-10 minutes. After 5 minutes we were called, it must have been 6-7 empty tables. No excuse. We used the UArms Hotel for 50 years and this is typical of the current service for what they quote as the best bistro in Cambridge. We ordered fish that was delicious, but the accompanying potatoes were not cooked (also Al Dente) and the samphire and shrimp were so over boiled. We ordered a gin tonic and not alcohol beer. Really nice. If the sole had been boiled with sapphire, the sapphire should of course be salty, but the whole salt flavor had been boiled out, so took the natural flavors that each fish dish with potatoes natural sauces, which is full of aromas. Basically, if the order of sapphire then people expect saltiness, please do not remove this to place modern thinking. This is constructive, not critical We enjoyed very much will definitely return. The meaning of life cocktail before meal was excellent.
Very patchy. We had a lovely server, however the food was overpriced and underwhelming. Everything was a problem. The manager refused to heat my daughters baby food and I was forced to spend £12 to allow my 12month old to eat. Pretty poor form. Avoid the steak.
After seeing some less good reviews, I was a bit tangible, but everything was nice. Our server was personal and the Duck was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Food and cocktails were good, however vegetables were severely undercooked. Restaurant was not flexible in accommodating dietary requirement for no pork.
Overall good,service was excellent bit disappointed with alcohol free drink choices but all in all an enjoyable experience.
