First thing i need to mention, the rooms are gigantic. Of course there are some rooms that are small but i stayed there with a 30 people group, occupying almost half the hotel and the consesus was the rooms were huge, only 2 people of the group got small rooms. I stayed in room 220, which was at a corner on the second floor, overlooking the parking lot. Lovely room, quite spacious. The hotel is close to rails and there are trains passing every 10 minutes or so, and it can get quite noisy at night with the windows open so i suggest you close the windows. The reception was impeccable, but the furniture looked a little worn and dated, and the carpet in the room wasn't the cleanest. Two nights in December. Did not know that you can still get single bed in miniature bedroom under the roof. The bed was complemented with the smallest bedcloth and tied in a corner with old wooden claddings. Carpet was revolting. The hotel does not have a gym, but has access to one from 9am. The businessmen begin their days earlier. Don't talk about football match on TV in the lobby and the nice smoke smell! Avoid even for 68 eur one night

I've stayed at the Prinz Carl a number of times before and have yet to have a bad experience. The rooms are big enough and I like the view over Worms in the morning. The breakfast room lacks a bit of atmosphere, it's always deathly quiet. The selection of food on offer could be a bit better. The bar area is good for a chat at the end of the day, good service, good beer.

Just returned from a two week stay at this Hotel. Rooms were dated ,but very clean and comfortable. The Junior sweet was very nice sized. Not much to do in town. I was there on business. Worms is a good town for walking. There is the traditional Zentrum (central shopping zone) to stroll at night. Most shops closed at 7 p.m. during the week. Book a table now

A big hotel in a huge complex that used to be an army camp. Some buildings 4 floors high with many parking spaces in between. The rooms are very large and very old. Bed very comfortable. There are smokers rooms so you need to ask for non-smokers. Bicycles available for rent. Parking is free. The breakfast buffet is rich and very good.

My headline says everything. Good old-fashioned service as you would expect and the quality of the dishes was top-class. Excellent wine proposal went well down!
