Very disappointing. I expected more considering all the work that went into it. The outside look is great but as you enter the establishment you realize it is just another sports bar. I sat in a corner of the place and counted 14 TV's all on and all sports but wait there's more.....MORE TV's...all on and all on sports! The only reason I went was when I realized they changed their menu from almost below average to something more enticing. When I asked the server about the amount of TV's on the other side of the place and if they were always on sports she said yes and the manager wanted it that way. Went there for dinner, and had trouble finding anything worth it on the menu... very simple selection of wraps, sandwiches and typical standard bar grub at higher than normal prices. Waitress took over 20 min to take our order, and we actually had to ask another person to get her as she was wandering around in the back of the bar.chatting to other employees. Beers arrived, room temperature, meal was the norm.. basic, no big deal. Atmosphere was ok. .. but will never go back again, Not a gastropub by any means..just another bar with basic pub grub..
First time. Love the atmosphere. Very nice outdoor area. Try the fried pickles as an appetizer. The honey garlic wings were ample (1 pound), served with celery and carrots. One person had humus and vegggies, the other had the small order of nachos - a dinner plate with multicolor nacho chips. Lots of cheese, black olives and jalapeños, served with sour cream and salsa. Too many for one person!... very good service.
A great patio to enjoy lunch with excellent service. Most of us ordered the Fish Tacos, which were very good along with coated fries. We spent a couple of hours, just catching up and we did not feel rushed to leave. They have a new Chief, coming out with a new menu soon and I will go back to sample some of his new creations.

Parks & Rec is a beautifully decorated gastropub in my neighborhood. A great selection of beers on tap, as well as bottled, and good food! The bartenders and waitresses are personable, and are very inviting.If you ever find yourself in "The Glade" make sure you make a point of stopping in for a bite to eat, and some drinks.
The reason I review so much is a friend (from gr 9) and I go for dinner every Tues, then off to the movies. I had their Mac and cheese. Mmmmmmm. I LOVE mac and cheese! I now have a new fav place to get it! We weren't very hungry that night so I had the childs portion (huge) and. SOOO delicious
The place is beautiful and a great place to go with friends. Lots of board games to play, it can get noisy though. Disappointed by the beaver tails dessert. Nothing like the actual dessert - mostly air bread with cinnamon
Nice relaxed atmosphere. The food has always been good and they have many varieties of cold & delicious beer. Friendly and helpful staff.

Took my family here for brunch. The food was awesome. The place is relatively small but the food makes up for the size.
Good service....accommodates your party, whether 2 or 30+. Nice neighbourhood location in east end of the city.
