Great service, good food and nice ambiance. However, the restaurant was quite smokey from the wood burning pizza oven. We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and never experienced a smoke filled restaurant. Although we had a wonderful evening, the smoke made it difficult to breathe and enjoy the atmosphere fully. That being said, our server apologized many times and immediately sent over the manager, who addressed it quickly and efficiently. They opened the front door and turned on the A/C to help circulate the air, which helped a bit. Really appreciated their efforts.
The Good—love food waiter service. The Bad— bar tender was surly when I went to the restroom I found my seat at bar was moved without explanation or my approval. Hostess has a sour disposition like she was doing me a great favor. My date concurred! Been with you restaurant for over 30 years—Has there been a change in Management—very sad.
Had a NY strip and it was chewy and not USDA prime. It was also slightly overlooked. For $50+ it should be better. My first time there and last. I’ll go to Arroyo Chop House instead.
Absolutely a Pasadena favorite. Beautiful space, not too loud, attentive staff, great choices with fantastic flavor. My only feedback would be to have some craft beer draft options.

Fantastic barrel aged Old Fashioneds, terrific food, great atmosphere. Pricey, but worth it!
It was great for my wife but not for me the menu left me wanting more.
