I discovered this venue quite by chance, more because it was in a quieter part of Westfield, away from the crazy fast-food frenzy of the food court which is menacingly dominated by now ubiquitous giants of McDonalds, KFC and Burger King. For my part I have never even heard of Simone Remoli, although I am reliably informed, according to this restaurant 's signage, that he trained in the kitchens of the finest restaurants in Rome, then decided to travel to London to 'extend his knowledge '. Even though Westfield is a noisy and busy shopping center, it is worth enduring the hustle to have lunch at this restaurant. I appreciated the concept of being able to choose my own sauce, pasta, and cheese. My husband particularly enjoyed his mushroom sauce, whole wheat pasta, and parmesan. For my main course, I opted for the prawns as a starter, which were delicious and juicy in a garlicky sauce, although they were quite messy to eat without finger bowls. Despite this, the experience made us laugh and is not recommended for solo dining.
We arrived at 1pm and the restaurant was quiet. It seems like not many people are aware of this place. This was our first time trying it out and we definitely recommend it. The food was freshly made and served hot; the biscuit was delicious and the peach ice tea was refreshing. In total, our meal, drinks, and biscuit came to £40 for both me and my partner, which we found to be a reasonable price compared to other restaurants.
Very dissapointing. Mozzarella pasta, undercooked tastless pasta, the basil and tomato sauce was bland, 3 small pieces of Mozzarella garnished with a single lonely leaf! All this for over £13! Wish I had photos! Watching the prep should have warned me, the food was thrown around. The people who work here don't appear to care, just a job. Save your money or try next door The Hungry Bedouin. Ordered a takeaway large bolognese which cost £12. Not exactly cheap and was expecting a well made tasty dish. Instead I got a heap of wet pasta, a meagre amount of mince and zero flavour. Extremely bland and no care given to the food. I had to cook it further at home to add some flavour to it for me it wasn’t edible before. Really poor needs to improve for this price tag
ok, let's start talking about the quality price factor, very convenient. I ate a pasta tagliatelle amatriciana, very good and typical Italian products, the staff is very courteous, and attentive to details, the place is clean and renovated, a friend recommended this restaurant to me, I heard that pasta with fish is very popular ... I will definitely come back to try it.
I was in the area for business and on my way back to the hotel, I was thinking about dinner when I passed by this restaurant. I was looking for something quick and delicious, and that is exactly what I found. The service was very quick and friendly, and the food was exceptional. I will definitely be returning to eat here again when I am back in the area.
I ordered a portion of Bolognese pasta, the smell was awful, I went to ask him if he could make another portion with pork but unfortunately the second portion was uncooked, I was very disappointed. I will never return to this place. Book a table now
Over priced and poor quality. The meatballs were more bread than meat and the chicken and peppers was full of chicken skin and gristle . Really poor experience, will not be returning.
